At Lepore Comprehensive Dentistry, while our goal is always to provide the highest-quality dental care to our patients in Dunedin, Florida, we understand most patients are looking for a more comfortable, easy-going experience. We take that request seriously and are excited to share with you our comfort menu for you to enjoy. Below is a list of some of those pleasing elements.
Refreshment Bar
Looking for a refreshing way to start or end your visit? Visit our refreshment bar and enjoy a spa water. Whether it’s lavender, mint or cucumber added, you’ll love the revitalizing taste to enhance your appointment. Coffee and Tea just for you? We’re happy to personally make one just the way you take it. 2 sugars or 1? We’ll make it custom, just like the way we treat your care.
Office WiFi
Enjoy high-speed internet in the comfort of the office. Spouses, parents, and loved ones love the ability to perhaps catch up on emails, respond to a work commitment, or simply surf the internet for their favorite interests while their loved one gets their dental treatment done.
Noise-Cancellation Headphones
Wish the sounds could be greatly reduced or even muted? Us to! So we invested in top-of-the-line noise-canceling Beats Studio headphones. These add to a visit by decreasing a stress we know so many patients have.
Custom Music Stations
Probably one of our most popular amenities. Most dental offices have a standard soundtrack they play throughout the office. Whether you get your feels from 70s rock, rap, pop, or any other genre, you can listen to the music that YOU want to listen to. Combine that with our noise-cancellation headphones, and that adds yet another stimulus to focus on to actually “drown out” those dental noises. Patients find it a calmer and more enjoyable experience, and we couldn’t be happier for them.
Massage Chairs
You’ll be so excited to take a seat in our chairs that offer mild massaging to the upper and mid-back. Chair massage promotes relaxation and relieves stress and anxiety. You don’t want to miss the experience of a complimentary massage while getting your dental work done.
Spa-Scented Hot Towels
Imagine, towards the end of your treatment, a fresh warm towel is waiting for you. Having an amenity like a hot towel also reduces tension and increases feelings of relaxation. Warm towels in our practice make our patients feel warm, cozy, and comfortable. It can be used to help remove any water on your face from your cleanings or appointments or some of that pesky impression material. A soothing hot towel can also be placed around the neck during procedures to further increase your relaxation. When you add relaxing scents like lavender, eucalyptus, or peppermint, this experience mirrors and emulates your local spa.
Jellybean Pillows
Jellybean pillows assist the dental headrests to provide improved support and patient head-positioning to any dental chair. Most importantly, they also improve patient comfort. They can also be used underneath shoulders, knees, and your back to provide additional support for any dental procedure. So many of our patients experience pre-existing conditions where having these pillows makes for a much more comfortable experience.
Plush Mildly Weighted Blankets
Research has shown that a mildly weighted blanket can be effective for reducing anxiety. If you’ve ever felt a boost of happiness after getting a big hug or snuggling under a down comforter, you may have already experienced the benefits of deep-pressure touch therapy. In fact, for years, we have noticed some people report feeling soothed and content as they lie under the heavy x-ray shield at the dentist’s office. So we’ve brought this comfort to you in blankets that have a very mild weight to them, and patients absolutely love them.
Light Blockout Eyewear
Patients typically do not like the dental light shining in their eyes. Problem solved! We offer multiple types of blockout eyewear for your dental visits to protect your eyes from any water splash or bright lights.
Stress Ball
A recent study showed that a group that used stress balls to squeeze in each hand whenever they were feeling anxious or if they felt uncomfortable showed 18% less anxiety and 22% less pain than those who received usual treatment. This is all the news we needed to bring stress balls into our office. What makes them cuter? They’re shaped like teeth! We can offer one or two to you at any visit to help make your visit that much more comfortable.
