Being a hygienist, I’ve been in the dental field since I was 16, so a very long time. And one of the main things that I noticed before I started working here is, I started to just feel like I was on the treadmill, 8 – 5, cleaning teeth. And now that I’m here, I feel like I have a purpose. I feel like I have a belonging and it’s hard to find that purpose again in dentistry when you’ve been in it so long.
And the passion that I have for dentistry and the passion I have for the purpose and the vision that Dr. Lepore has is amazing. I wouldn’t trade this job for anything, and this isn’t just a job, this is my passion, this is what I do for a living. And when I go home at the end of the day, it doesn’t stop. I do research, I’m writing articles, I’m doing all kinds of things that will help not only better my career but will help better my patients’ health. So that way I’m up on things that they might not know or maybe something that they might bring to me. I want to be able to help educate them.
As our team that we have now, we have the best team we’ve ever had. I feel like we all work together, we all help each other out, and that is true. That is you can say you have teamwork in an office but this is, this is beyond real teamwork. This is our family, this is who we are. When we go home, sometimes we’ll send fun little text messages to each other. And it doesn’t necessarily end at 5’o clock when we go home at the end of the day and that’s the nice thing, that you have to love the people that you work with. And I think that we do.
Although extremely professional and skilled, the staff manages to create a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. They also take the time to do things properly, and do a good job of conveying that they care.
